Service Description
Who is it for The CarboxyTherapy Facial is suitable for most skin types and ages but it’s particularly suited for skin that’s lost its lustre. The surge in oxygen and improved circulation helps eliminate fluid buildup, toxins, and waste products resulting in a rejuvenated, radiant complexion. The oxygenating action also helps reduce Dark Circles, smooth uneven skin texture and improve the appearance of enlarged pores while also boosting moisture retention and supporting overall skin health. What to expect Relaxation & Rejuvenation, this is a non-invasive treatment where the skin feels warm and sometimes slightly tingling. Part 1 – The CarboxyTherapy Mask • A Double Cleanse using lipid cleansing oils, AHAs & BHAs • Skin is gently steamed to aid circulation, soften debris & sebum and encourage relaxation. • A thick gel is applied evenly over the skin • The CarboxyTherapy Mask is applied over the gel and gently pressed to activate the release of CO₂. (By creating a temporary surplus of CO₂ on the skin, red blood cells are forced to release oxygen, flooding the skin tissues with nutrients. This is known as the Bohr Effect). • The mask is left in place for 15 minutes while you relax and enjoy a head, neck & shoulder massage Part 2 – Massage • The mask is removed and any residual gel is cleansed away with warm cloths, skin is toned to restore it’s PH balance. • The face is massaged to enhance the treatment results by maximizing lymphatic drainage, increasing nutrient absorption, and further boosting circulation. To cool the skin, ice globes are incorporated into the massage. Part 3 – LED Light Therapy & Mask • An LED Light Therapy canopy is used to further rejuvenate the skin (10-15 mins) (LED light therapy aids the skin in multiple ways including reducing acne, boosting collagen, diminishing wrinkles, calming inflammation, and accelerating healing. The appropriate wavelength will be selected for your specific skin requirements). • A clear gel mask is applied to the skin to support the skin barrier and ongoing skin rejuvenation. Clients usually leave the clinic wearing this mask. The result, dewy, brighter, firmer, and more radiant skin, with reduced puffiness and improved dark circles. You may experience temporary redness (erythema) & warmth but this is mild & temporary.
Cancellation Policy
A *non-refundable* 20% deposit is required for all appointments please. This is fully redeemable from the overall cost of treatment providing the terms of the booking policy have been met. Please do ensure your personal details are entered correctly especially your email address as all correspondence in relation to your appointment will be sent via email. We completely understand sometimes emergencies do occur therefore we allow you to reschedule your appointment and transfer your booking fee to an alternative date, as long as 48hrs notice has been given. You will receive a reminder email before your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please click the cancel/ reschedule button within your appointment confirmation email. Please note the 20% deposit will be retained for appointments cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. If you are running late Please inform us as soon as possible, Please note if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment we may not be able see you and may need to cancel your appointment. New Clients Treatments are carried out at the therapist’s discretion. If we feel you have previously been over treated or for any reason you are not suitable for treatment, we will unfortunately decline treatment. We always try to find an alterative treatment which will benefit your skin and treat it to it’s maximum potential considering it’s condition. We strongly recommend you book a consultation before booking treatment. If you are a new patient a full consultation sheet will be sent out to you for completion in advance of your treatment. Please ensure you make us fully aware of any underlying health conditions / allergies / medications New Client Consultations All new clients will be sent a consultation sheet on booking for completion ahead of your treatment. An online or in person consultation may be required ahead of your treatment to ensure we can maximise the benefits for you and that you are a suitable candidate. Younger clients All clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult All discounted treatment courses must be paid for in advance in full please however appointments for these treatments can be booked individually. On cancellation of any pre booked upcoming appointments a cancellation fee of 20% will be deducted for each appointment cancelled By booking an appointment you are accepting these terms and conditions.
