Dermaforce is a powerful new technology in non-surgical skin rejuvenation. Using tiny micro needles to deliver radio-frequency deep into the dermis Dermaforce penetrates the epidermis, heating the collagen fibres in the dermis to 55°C-65°C. This stimulates the body’s natural healing process, and as cell turnover increases as the body heals, this results in the production of collagen and elastin in these areas.

Compared with more invasive treatments, microneedling with radio frequency is minimally invasive so there is little to no downtime at the skins surface however the results speak for themselves.

What to expect from your Dermaforce treatment?

Due to it’s insulated needles 3D Dermaforce is the most comfortable micro needling RF treatment on the market. Using a vacuum to ensure accurate needle delivery increases comfort and numbing creams are not required, unlike Morpheus 8. However, I am always happy to provide numbing cream as it's important to optimise the treatment and some people have more sensitive pain receptors. Some areas are obviously more sensitive (think upper lip!) but if you’ve ever tried derma rolling, Dermaforce is pain free by comparison. The gold plated needles are suited to clients with metal allergies and the needle lengths are adjustable between 0.5mm and 4.5mm. Face treatments are delivered using 32 needle cartridges and the body with 64 needle cartridges.

Treatment times are between 30 and 60 minutes, dependent on the treatment area. Before the treatment the area is thoroughly cleansed and sanitised with an antimicrobial lotion.

During treatment the skin will redden and in areas where the skin is thinnest slight bleeding is possible.

After treatment the area is treated with hyaluronic acid, thoroughly moisturised and an SPF applied.

Post treatment

Up to 24 hours post treatment you may experience erythema (reddening of the skin) and mild swelling.
